WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC INPUT PLAN?

The goal of the public meetings is to identify a preferred street design that meets the project’s objectives while considering the needs and concerns of the residents and businesses in Downtown, Over-the-Rhine and the West End.

Public input and involvement are important components of the project. Opportunities to provide input and stay informed throughout the project have included:

  • Two Public Surveys:

    • Mid-summer: Public input on current state of the corridor and to make suggestions for how to best improve it.

    • End of August-October 1: Public input on four preliminary design alternatives.

  • Progress updates sent via email. Click here to be included in emails.

  • In-person public meetings and online options to review preliminary design alternatives and provide feedback.

HOW DOES PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Community members have deep insight and knowledge of their neighborhoods. Partnerships between the community and the City of Cincinnati can help fine-tune project alternatives and uncover opportunities that haven’t yet been considered. By working through the process together, projects like the Central Parkway Reimagined Project are made stronger and better.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Participate in the process. Be informed. Attend a neighborhood meeting. Your thoughts and opinions are encouraged.
